I just refinished HP7. For srs, that feeling of "shit I just finished HP" doesn't change even though I've read it before. Man I love those books (yes even the epilogue)!

Day 18 → Whatever tickles your fancy

Woo my grades for Fall '09 came in! A, A-, A-, B, B. I personally think the +/- system is crap, because an A is an A. But still I'm pleased, because I thought it was going to be 3 As and 2 Cs, so I killed my exams and got Bs. WIN! Overall I have a 3.5 GPA, so I'll take that happily! That tickles my fancy quiite a bit actually.

Grr, I'm itching to get back to school. I really do love being here at home and spending time with my fam, but I am just a school loving kind of person. My friends are there, I have fun in my dorm, and I love learning. Some people were made to make music, others to idk, invent things; I was made for schooling! Don't get me wrong, break is lovely. Sitting around doing nothing kicks major butt. But there's only so much of nothing I can do!

So I don't celebrate Christmas, but I love the Christmas spirit... so here's what I got for you celebrating (and not celebrating) friends:

Day 15 → A fanfic

Well boo. I don't really read fanfic that much, and I don't want to just go looking for a fic just for shits and gigs. And I don't want to post my own cause I think that's kind of douchey for this kind of thing. But here's what I'm going to do, a long time ago, circa 2005, my best friend Tyler wrote his version of the final Harry Potter installment (so this was before we knew anything).

Harry Potter woke with a start. He tried to remember what the dream had been about. He saw himself, except he was older, maybe 10 years older, and he was picking up trash in the median of an interstate near Privet Drive. He was wearing a muggle prison uniform. It seemed so real, like the dreams he had about the Riddle house. Suddenly a loud bang came from the front door, and he heard Uncle Vernon ranting about "bloody solicitors" The door opened and it was the muggle police, they rushed up the stairs and grabbed Harry, putting handcuffs on him. He was being arrested for grand theft auto. He had finally been caught, and what was worse, they found the drugs which caused him to come up with the magic and Hogwarts. It seemed the dream was going to become a reality. THE END

→ Lie to Me was so good last night! Loker was adorableeee with the kids, like for srs. I liked Gillian's obvious concern for everyone throughout this entire ep. She's just such an awesome dynamic and beautiful representation of what psychologists effing are! Or well, like the kind I want to be anyway... =] I'm sad it won't be on till April, but! Hulu loves us and put ALL OF THE SEASON 2 EPS BACK UP! so I have season 1 and season 2 at my disposal till it comes back on. And that my friends is called a WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!

Day 13 → A Non-Fictional Book



I read this in my Cultural Anthropology class last semester and really enjoyed it. IT reads like a novel but it's all true experiences. Excellent book!

Does anyone else sort of, TOTALLY freak out when it comes to teachers calculating and entereing the grades you earned in correctly? I do. I get ulcers worse than those that occurr when I watch Lost... I just want things to run smoothly so I don't have to worry about them and have to deal with them later...

I got LIE TO ME SEASON 1 last night for my Channukah gifffft! I watched Life is Priceless (109) last night because that was the only one I haven't seen and shit! it was so good! Watched the Pilot again this morning with my mom. I. LOVE. THAT. SHOW. I plan on rewatching the whole aeason in order again.

I need to watch Grey's! kris10_loveee sent me them in the mail so I can watch from the beginning but I've been slacking. Shoulda started them Friday... I'll get to it!

(I need to write two fics: a Callie/Arizona for the Secret Santa thing at the community, and (yes shoot me) a Foster/Loker one. I'm on team Lightman/Foster FOR LIFE, obvs, but for srs, I could see Gil and Eli doing something as a one nighter... yeah.)

At the beginning of the summer when House ended, I asked this question, and then Ausiello answered it on my Birthday! I saved the page as proof, and I'm reclaiming my fame, lol! Too bad this season hasn't been anything extraordinary.

→ I started rereading HP7 over the summer, stopped because of school then picked it up about 3 days ago. I'm at the part where Neville came out of Aberforth's mirror. How good is that book?!
→ So on a scale of 1 to 10 of how much I want Lost back, I'm at about 108. I want it back ridiculously bad. After Grey's and Private Practice this week there was a trailer for the new season, nothing new in it, but just rewatching what they were showing made me super excited.
→ I miss Grey's.
→ My parents have been arguing the way parents do all morning. Blah, it's annoying being the mediator.

Fall '09 is buh-bye. Thank the lord! It wasn't a hrd sememster, just a stressful one.

I have one worry over break and that's my roommates fridge molding, I heard water dripping last night and I think the towel was on the wrong shelf. Awesome. Let's hope it isn't a mold-fest come January.

Okay guys, my dad, DAD, won an Emmy. E-M-M-Y. You know, that thing celebs win? He has one. Ironically, the channel that aired the show he won the award for cancelled his contract, and they make it now and it's SHIT. So maybe they'll see how BA my dad is and give him his job back, making my parent's life much easier. His category was "Sports Reguarly Sceduled Daily or Weekly Program" and the episode of his show was "Inside the Rays: The Durham Bulls.". It was a show about the Durham Bulls, a Minor League baseball team who the Tampa Bay Rays pull players from. Go Dad!
